We have learned that Toby Jones has joined the cast of Antoine Fuqua’s upcoming thriller drama film ‘Infinite’. Sources state that the actor has already finalised his deal to join the film however details regarding his role in the film are currently unknown.
Antoine Fuqua’s ‘Infinite’ will be an adaption of D. Eric Maikranz’s 2009 novel The Reincarnationist Papers with the screenplay written by Ian Shorr. The story follows a group of near-immortal men and women who are reincarnated over the centuries and known as the Infinite. To defeat an evil mastermind, the group must rely on a schizophrenic man whose vivid dreams are actually memories from past lives.
Mark Wahlberg will be taking on the lead role for the film, following Chris Evans dropping out of the film due to scheduling issues with his upcoming Apple TV+ series ‘Defending Jacob’. Toby Jones will also be joining a cast that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor (‘The Lion King’, ‘Doctor Strange’), Jason Mantzoukas (‘John Wick Chapter 3 – Parabellum’, ‘Neighbors’), Sophie Cookson (‘Kingsman: The Secret Service, ‘The Huntsman: Winter’s War’), Dylan O’Brien (‘The Maze Runner’, ‘Teen Wolf’) and Rupert Friend (‘Hitman: Agent 47’, ‘The Death of Stalin’).
Lorenzo di Bonaventura (‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’, ‘Transformers’) will produce the film through his production company Di Bonaventura Pictures. Paramount Pictures will be the worldwide distributor for the film.
