A Release Date Guide For Every 2020 Film

2020 is set to be a huge year for film, the first of a new decade promising to be full of creative and unique storytelling. Although we are not quite sure how the internet will cope with a full year without a new Star Wars film to argue over, the following months are still stacked with exciting entertainment. The monolithic Disney slate is set to dominate once again with Black Widow and The Eternals being released from Marvel Studios. Mulan is likely to be a smash hit and arguably Disney’s most successful live-action film to date. Pixar’s Onward and Soul are also looking to be the animated films of the year to look out for.

DC and Warner Bros. are also set to have an interesting year with Wonder Woman 84′ and the wonderfully named Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. Both will surely smash the box office, thus marking more wins for DC films. If you need more comicbook film material, Sony is also set to release Venom 2. With current rumors of Tom Holland in negotiations to appear for a cameo as Peter Parker in the sequel- this could be a surprise hit.

2020 also sees the return of two superstar Directors in Denis Villeneuve and Christopher Nolan. Nolan’s TENET starring John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, and newly donned caped-crusader Robert Pattison. Villeneuve meanwhile returns with Dune later on in the year, a star-studded remake of the cult classic 1984 film. Finally, Daniel Craig is set to feature in his final outing as the iconic British spy James Bond in No Time to Die opposite Oscar-winner Rami Malek. Have not spotted anything you fancy just yet? Not to worry, we have conveniently compiled a comprehensive list of 2020 releases below. Have a read through and you will surely find something that catches your eye in this action-packed year.
