What’s Next for the Cast of Stranger Things

by Yasmine Kandil
A character collage of Mike, Eleven, Max, Lucas, and Dustin from STRANGER THINGS 4.

Stranger Things is the phenomenon that keeps on giving. Following Netflix’s release of Stranger Things 4 Vol 1, the 80s nostalgia trip created by The Duffer brothers surpassed Bridgerton to become the streaming service’s most-watched English series of all time. The influence that this show has over pop culture is unlike anything else right now. For example, by smartly featuring Kate Bush’s classic pop ballad ‘Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God),’ the song reached the very top of the streaming charts and has now even earned the famed singer 3 new Guinness World Records.

However, looking back at the small scale of the first season which was released in the summer of 2016, many of the show’s stars were in the very early days of their careers. In fact, numerous actors spent much of their childhood working on Stranger Things, with leads such as Mille Bobby Brown being just a little over eleven years old when first cast (no pun intended). The majority of the Hawkins gang have grown up before our own eyes, over time joining co-stars like Winona Ryder, who also kicked off her prominent career in her teens, in becoming icons of pop culture and household names in their own right.

Now nearly six years later, Stranger Things boasts a stellar, award-winning ensemble with a vast portfolio of not only completed projects, but a multitude of upcoming ones as well. To celebrate the highly anticipated release of Volume 2, which just literally broke Netflix servers and more new records, we have compiled a complete list of upcoming projects on each of the Stranger Things star’s rosters. Here you can find out what your favorite actors are up to, in order to make the grueling wait for the fifth and final season of the beloved show slightly less painful. These projects include feature films, television shows, voice acting roles, and even theatre, making it hard not to find something that piques your interest on this expansive list.
