SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE has an all-star cast with the likes of Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali, Shameik Moore, and Haliee Steinfeld. However, there are a few more talented voices in the cast that have not been made public. We can confirm that Sony Pictures has been able to sign a huge star familiar with comic book films into their roster.

That’s right! According to our sources, Nicolas Cage, known for playing the titular role in Sony Pictures’ ‘GHOST RIDER’ as well as voicing Superman in the upcoming TEEN TITANS GO TO THE MOVIES animated film is set to voice Spider-Man Noir in SPIDER-MAN INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE.

We recently found out that Spider-Man Noir would be in the film due to a leaked listing of some of Funko’s upcoming product lineup.

The inclusion of Spider-Man Noir alongside Hailee Steinfeld’s Spider-Gwen and other currently unannounced Spider characters shows that we are definitely going to be taking a deep dive into Spider-Man lore and will get to explore multiple different Spider characters. And with voicing both Superman and a version of Spider-Man in the same year and  with the wide-release of his other suspense film MANDY, this is proving to be a great year for Cage.

Nicolas Cage’s reps had no comment on this story.

Sony Pictures also have no comment regarding this story.
