SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE has an all-star cast with the likes of Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali, Shameik Moore, Haliee Steinfeld and Nicolas Cage like confirmed in one of our past stories. However it seems another fairly large actor has signed on to join the cast according to our source.

We can exclusively confirm that Kathryn Hahn, known for her roles in ‘STEP BROTHERS’, ‘TOMORROWLAND’ and the upcoming ‘HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION’ film has been cast in the upcoming Sony Pictures Animation film in a large villainous role.

It seems Kathryn Hahn’s villainous role will have a large presence in the film, however since Kingpin is to be the main villain of INTO THE SPIDER VERSE, we can rule out that her character will be the main villain of the film but rather a large supporting villain.

The inclusion of another beloved actor to this ever growing cast is definitely a welcome sight, with the cast shaping up to be one of the strongest casts ever for a comic book movie, we at DiscussingFilm are very excited to see how this film will turn out!

Sony Pictures had no comment on this story.
