Supergirl has officially begun production on its fourth season and with that we have learned a new large piece of casting information for the show.
We can confirm that Sam Witwer, known for his roles such as Doomsday in Smallville and the voice of Darth Maul in the Star Wars Universe (except The Phantom Meance) has been cast in the fourth season of The CW’s ‘SUPERGIRL’ Season 4, he was spotted yesterday in set photos around the Supergirl shooting area by YVRShoots and was seemingly shooting with Katie McGrath who plays Lena Luthor on the television show. We have been following this story for a number of days now and additionally have learned who Sam Witwer will play.
Sam Witwer is set to be a series regular for Season 4 in the role of Agent Liberty. Based on the DC Comics character, AGENT LIBERTY is the founder and figurehead of the Children of Liberty – a hate group that supports a human-first world order. Ruthless and terrifying, the scariest thing about Agent Liberty might be just how easily he can convince you that he’s in the right. He’s a brilliant orator in the guise of a family man.
SUPERGIRL will return for its fourth season in its new Sunday night home on October 14th at 8/7c on The CW.
