We at DiscussingFilm have a small update on Jojo Rabbit for you as we can announce that the film will be scored by the legendary composer Michael Giacchino.
Michael Giacchino has previously scored films such as ‘The Incredibles’, ‘Sky High’, ‘Ratatouille’, ‘Star Trek’, ‘Up’, ‘Star Tours: The Adventures Continue’, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’, ‘Inside Out’, ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Zootopia’, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, ‘Coco’ and ‘‘Incredibles 2’. He is also set to compose the score for ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’.
‘Jojo Rabbit’ will be written and directed by Taika Waititi, the film will focus on a World War II satire where Jojo “Rabbit” Betzler is a young boy living during World War II. His only escapism is through his imaginary friend, an ethnically inaccurate version of Adolf Hitler, who pushes the young boy’s naive patriotic beliefs. However, this all changes when a young girl challenges those views and causes Jojo to face his own issues.
The film will star Roman Griffin Davis, Thomasin McKenzie, Taika Waititi, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, Stephen Merchant and Alfie Allen.
