Rosamund Pike In Talks To Join Amazon’s ‘The Wheel Of Time’ TV Series.

Rosemund Pike is the first actor to be in talks to join Amazon’s adaption of the fantasy novel ‘The Wheel of Time’ as Moiraine.

‘The Wheel of Time’ is based on the fantasy novels of James Oliver Rigney Jr. under his pen name of Robert Jordan. The novels are being adapted into a live-action series for the Amazon Prime Streaming Service by Rafe Judkins who will serve as the writer and the showrunner for the series. Uta Briesewitz will direct an undisclosed amount of episodes for the series with Isis Mussenden and Karen E. Goulekas joining the series as the costume designer and the visual effects supervisor respectively.

Rosemund Pike is known for her roles in ‘Die Another Day’, ‘The Worlds End’, ‘Wrath of the Titans’, ‘Gone Girl’ and ‘A Private War’. She also will soon star in ‘I Care A Lot’ and ‘The Banker’s Wife’.

When asked for comment on this story, Amazon provided a no comment response.
