FX Networks is going forward with the development of ‘A Teacher’ limited series based on Hannah Fidell’s Sundance feature film. The film focused on a high school teacher in Austin, Texas who has an affair with one of her students. Hannah Fidell will write, direct and executive produce with Kate Mara attached to play the lead role of Diana Watts as well as executive produce the series.
We have learned that Nick Robinson is in talks to play Eric Tull in the limited series. Eric is the student who Kate Mara’s Diana Watts has an affair with.
Production is eyed to begin in August in Calgary.
