Jason Sudeikis’ Ted Lasso last appeared on NBC in 2014 during NBC’s English Premiere League coverage and has been missing from the public eye ever seen however, the (fictional) former football coach and failed soccer coach is set to make a comeback but this time it won’t be on NBC.

Instead, Apple’s upcoming streaming service Apple TV+ is set to develop a single camera comedy series titled ‘Ted Lasso’. The series will see Jason Sudeikis reprise his role as Ted Lasso with Jeff Ingold and Brendan Hunt set to executive produce and Bill Lawrence set to produce under his Doozer production company. Warner Bros Television will also be involved as a production company for the upcoming series.

Production will begin later this month in London.
