‘Shook’ will follow a teenage girl who goes after her dream to be a superstar dancer. Hannah Peterson will direct the first episode, Daniela Ruiz and Ross Partridge will produce and Jonathan Hurwitz set to write and executive produce the series. Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass will executive produce the series under the Duplass Brothers Productions banner.
We have learned that Sofia Wylie has been cast in the lead role for the series. Sofia is known for her roles in ‘Andi Mack’, ‘Marvel Rising: Heart Of Iron’ and will also star in ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ for Disney+.
The series will begin production in August in Los Angeles.
