Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely Set To Write Screenplay For ‘The Wind In The Willows’ (EXCLUSIVE)

The screenwriting duo behind ‘Avengers: Endgame’, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, are set to write the screenplay for a live-action/CGI hybrid adaption of ‘Wind In The Willows’. The Russo Brothers are set to produce the film under their AGBO production company with MGM also set to produce the film.

Besides for ‘Avengers: Endgame’, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are known for being behind the screenplays for such films as ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Solider’, ‘Captain America: Civil War’, the three films in the ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ trilogy and are also known for being behind ABC’s ‘Agent Carter’ series.

‘The Wind In The Willows’ is a children’s novel from Kenneth Grahame that was first published in 1908. The novel focuses on four anthropomorphised animals, Toad, Rat, Mole and Badger that live in a version of Edwardian England. The classic novel has been adapted twice to film, by Mark Hall and Chris Taylor in 1983 and by Terry Jones in 1996.
