‘WandaVision’

We have learned that production designer Mark Worthington has joined the crew for the upcoming Disney+ series ‘WandaVision’. The series will star Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park, Kat Dennings and Kathryn Hahn and will begin filming later this year for release in Spring 2021.

Mark Worthington is known for working on pilots such as ‘Watchmen’, ‘Umbrella Academy’, ‘Lost’, ‘Once Upon A Time’ and has worked on television shows such as ‘Why Women Kill’ and ‘American Horror Story’.

’Halo’

We have learned that Eric Kress has joined the crew for Showtime’s ‘Halo’ as the series’ cinematographer. Otto Bathurst will direct all episodes and Kyle Killen will act as showrunner on the series. Production will begin on September 16th in Budapest.

Eric Kress is known for his cinematography work on ‘Taken 3’, ‘Colossal’, ‘Flatliners’, ‘Midnight, Texas’ and ‘Game of Silence’.

‘Space Force’

We have learned that Simon Chapman has joined the crew of Netflix’s ‘Space Force’ as the series’ cinematographer. Greg Daniels will act as showrunner and Steve Carell will write, executive produce and star as the lead in their series. Production will begin on September 26th in Los Angeles.

Simon Chapman is known for his cinematography work on ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Upload’, ‘Gentleman Jack’ and ‘Harrow’.

’The Wheel Of Time’

We have learned that David Luther has joined the crew of Amazon’s ‘The Wheel of Time’ as the series’ cinematographer. Rafe Judkins will act as showrunner and Rosamund Pike will executive produce and star as the lead in the series.

David Luther is known for his cinematography work on ‘Musketeer’, ‘Sherlock’, ‘Black Sails’, and ‘His Dark Materials’.

’The Mandalorian’ Season 2

Following the announcement of a second season of ‘The Mandalorian’ by Jon Favreau, we have learned that Matthew Jensen will be taking over as cinematographer from Barry Idoine. The Mandalorian follows a lone gunslinger played by Pedro Pascal as he carries out various bounty hunter duties following the fall of the Empire, the cast also includes Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Ming-Na Wen and Werner Herzog.

Matthew Jensen is known for his cinematography work on ‘Wonder Woman’, ‘Fantastic Four’, ‘I Am The Night’, ‘Chronicle’, ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Ray Donovan’ and ‘True Blood’. He will next serve as cinematographer on ‘Wonder Woman 1984’. As of now, Rick Famuyiwa is the only director confirmed to return for the second season with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni set to return to executive produce. Production will begin on October 7th in Los Angeles.
