SAG Awards 2024: The Full Winners List

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) is celebrating its 30th Annual edition of the SAG Awards in 2024. Even though the SAG Awards are focused only on acting, winners here can further solidify the outcome of the Oscars race since many SAG-AFTRA members form a crucial part of the Academy. The biggest awards of the night go to the main cast in a motion picture and the main ensembles in a comedy and drama series. The SAG Awards also carry a unique quality in their two stunt categories dedicated to stunt ensembles in film and television.

The 2024 SAG Awards will be one to remember for various reasons. For starters, it’s coming after last year’s historic WGA and SAG strikes. Secondly, it will be the very first awards show to be streamed live on Netflix as part of a new deal between the streamer and the guild. This all makes for a special night to celebrate Hollywood’s finest actors. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie are leading the film nominations at the 2024 SAG Awards with 4 nods each. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Cord Jefferson’s American Fiction follow right behind with 3 nods each as well.

On the side of TV, HBO’s Succession is expected to win big at the 2024 SAG Awards with its 5 nominations. Coming right behind are HBO’s The Last of Us and FX’s The Bear with 4 nods each. Following the 2024 Golden Globes and recent Emmys, Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri are expected to continue their winning streaks in the leading acting in a comedy series categories for their fan-favorite performances in The Bear. The same goes for Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, who have both dominated the leading acting in a limited series categories in previous awards shows thanks to their stellar performances in Netflix’s Beef.

All eyes are on the main two leading acting categories in film, though, since many awards pundits still believe those specific races are too close to call. It’s a face-off between Cillian Murphy and Paul Giamatti for Best Actor and Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone for Best Actress. Whoever wins tonight in these categories will be able to solidify themselves as the frontrunners for next month’s Academy Awards. Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr. and Da’Vine Joy Randolph are both already seen as sure supporting actor Oscar winners thanks to their impressive awards streaks, and a SAG win would even further solidify that bet.

You can stream the 2024 SAG Awards live on Saturday, February 24 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Netflix. Stay tuned as we update all the 2024 SAG Award winners in the list below. You can also find the winners for the 2024 Golden Globes, Critics Choice, Emmys, and our very own DiscussingFilm Critic Awards right here on the site.
