Sharon Maguire In Talks To Direct ‘Godmothered’ For Disney+ (EXCLUSIVE)

We have learned that Sharon Maguire is in final talks to direct ‘Godmothered’ for Disney+.

Plot details are unknown but given the title, audiences can likely expect a Fairy Godmother to take centre stage in the plot. The film is expected to begin filming in early 2020.

Sharon Maguire is known for directing ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ and ‘Bridget Jones’ Baby’, The ‘Bridget Jones’ films follow a British woman who is determined to improve herself while she looks for love in a year in which she keeps a personal diary. She will also direct ‘Voicemails for Isabelle’ that focuses on a young woman, played by Hailee Steinfeld, trying to navigate her dating life in Los Angeles.

Disney+ will launch on November 12th in the United States and various other locations. Exclusive content that will launch with the service includes ‘High School Musical – The Musical – The Series’, the live-action ‘Lady and the Tramp’ remake, ‘Noelle’, ‘The World According To Jeff Goldblum’ and the first live-action ‘Star Wars’ series executive produced by Jon Favreau titled ‘The Mandalorian’.
