We have learned that Jacob Tremblay is in talks to join the cast of Amazon’s ‘Prince of Fashion’, the adaption of Pulitzer Prize-winner Michael Chabon’s GQ article, ‘My Son, The Prince of Fashion’.

Michael Chabon is known for his prize-winning novels Wonder Boys, Moonglow, Telegraph Avenue and the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. Under his overall television deal with CBS Studios, Chabon is involved in Netflix’s Unbelievable and the ‘Picard’ series for CBS All-Access.

Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley will produce the film under their GoldDay banner with with Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum set to produce under their Gary Sanchez Productions label.

Gus Van Sant will write and direct the feature film. He is known for writing and directing ‘My Own Private Idaho’, ‘Even Cowgirls Get The Blues’, ‘Good Will Hunting’, ‘Psycho’, ‘Gerry’, ‘Elephant’, ‘Restless’ among many other films.

The film follows a reporter’s visit to Paris Men’s Fashion Week with his 13-year-old son. Will Ferrell will star in the lead role of the reporter whilst Jacob Tremblay will star as his son.

Jacob Tremblay recently starred in ‘The Shining’ sequel ‘Doctor Sleep’, he will next star as the voice of Flounder in Disney’s live-action ‘The Little Mermaid’ remake and will also star in a yet unrevealed project later this year.
