The Prime Video February 2025 list of new arrivals is filled with exciting surprises. One of the headliners this month is the Prime Video original series Invincible, which is returning for its third season. Invincible Season 3 follows the further adventures of Mark Grayson/Invincible (Steven Yeun), the son of former Earth protector Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). The animated Amazon show has received great praise for balancing accuracy to Robert Kirkman‘s beloved comics while taking its own creative liberties. This third season is expected to do the same as it introduces a swath of huge names to its already jam-packed voice cast, including Aaron Paul, Jonathan Banks, Kate Mara, Simu Lui, and Xolo Maridueña.

Reacher is another highly successful Prime Video show that is making its season 3 debut in February 2025. Reacher Season 3 is based on Persuader, the seventh book in author Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novel series. This season sees Alan Ritchson‘s titular hero facing off against a mysterious foe from his past. With this new threat comes some new formidable muscle, played by seven-foot-two professional bodybuilder Oliver Ritchers, otherwise known as “The Dutch Giant.” Reacher has amassed a dedicated fanbase on the Prime Video streaming service, with each season earning more views than the last. Invincible and Reacher Season 3 will both kick off with 3 episodes on their respective premiere dates, February 6 and February 20, 2025.

One brand new Amazon series to look out for is Clean Slate, premiering on February 6, 2025. The show follows Harry Slate (iconic comedian George Wallace), an old-school and outspoken Alabama car wash owner who is shocked when his estranged child returns home after 17 years. Only, she’s returned as a proud trans woman, Desiree (Laverne Cox). It’s comforting to see a comedy like Clean Slate explore the trans expereince and the importance of family on a streaming giant like Prime Video. Moreover, Clean Slate is one of the last shows to be produced by the late Norman Lear, who is responsible for bringing classic sitcoms like All in the Family, Good Times, and The Jeffersons to TV screens.

Here’s a fun one: Takeshi Kitano (aka Beat Takeshi) is having his latest feature, Broken Rage, distributed as a Prime Video original film of sorts on February 13, 2025. Broken Rage is a two-part movie, with the first half being a gritty action thriller set in a criminal underworld involving a struggle between the police and the Yakuza. The second half is something very different, transforming into a full-on slapstick parody. On the note of comedy, Latino icon George Lopez is saying goodbye to the comic landscape with his final stand-up special on February 18, 2025, titled George Lopez: Muy Católico. Prime Video will be the excluisve streaming home for this special occasion.

To wrap up original Amazon content, 50,000 First Dates: A True Love Story hits Prime Video on February 11, 2025. The reality series centers on Nesh Pillay, a woman who woke up one morning with inexplicable memory loss trapped in the year 1996. She’s shocked to discover that her fiancé JJ has been with her every step of the way, even pretending to be her Uber Driver when she couldn’t remember him. 50,000 First Dates: A True Love Story explores their real-life romance that feels straight out of a Hollywood rom-com and how they must now navigate viral fame and the health complications of memory loss.

To pair with 50,000 First Dates, the Prime Video streaming library is adding the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore comedy 50 First Dates, which has a very similar premise to the show. Other comedies coming to the streamer in February 2025 include another Sandler film, Mr. Deeds, as well as the Legally Blonde and Nutty Professor films. Prime Video subscribers will also want to gather the whole family around the television for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. Finally, Dìdi (弟弟) and Past Lives are two recent indie gems every moviegoer needs to check off their watch lists. Both movies are making their Prime Video streaming debuts early in February 2025.
