Disney+ is ramping up for what’s looking to be a stacked holiday season in November 2022. Right now there’s plenty to chew on for all fandoms on the streaming service. Star Wars fans that have been enjoying Andor will be able to jump into Lucasfilm’s latest live-action legacy sequel series, Willow. Marvel followers who loved Werewolf by Night and She-Hulk are now sinking their teeth sinto the next behind-the-scenes deep dives, Director by Night and Marvel Studios’ Assembled – The Making of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The list goes on.

As far as animation goes, November has already brought forward Zootopia+, the latest run of Walt Disney Animation shorts follows Cars on the Road. Plus, subscribers can now enjoy the 2-D animated short Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies, the first Star Wars collaboration between Lucasfilm and the famous Studio Ghibli. Those who’ve been spending more time on the National Geographic corner of Disney+ will be thrilled for the arrival of Fire of Love, one of the most critically praised documentaries of the year that follows the famed volcanologist couple Katia and Maurice Krafft in their final daring years of studying in active volcanos together. Additionally, the new Nat Geo series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth will also satisfy subscribers looking for something on the wild side.

Of course, we can’t go on without mentioning the streaming premiere of Disenchanted, the long-awaited sequel to the fan-favorite 2007 hit Enchanted. There’s more ground to cover on Disney+ in November 2022, so keep scrolling to read more on our monthly recs and to see the full list of what’s about to hit the streaming service. You can also find the most up to date new arrivals and leaving titles from HBO Max and Netflix right here on DiscussingFilm.

Set during the events of the feature film, Zootopia+ collects 6 short stories that shed more light on everyone’s favorite characters. From Fru Fru the newly married arctic shrew to Duke the criminal weasel to Flash the charasmatic sloth, everyone has a bit more time to shine in Zootopia+. If you were a fan of Cars on the Road or Baymax!, this is a no-brainer to put on for the whole family. And who knows, with the success of these latest collection of shorts, even more could soon be on the way.

Zootopia+ is now streaming on Disney+

Disenchanted

Disenchanted | Official Trailer | Disney+

One of the most demanded sequels from Disney fans in the last decade, Disenchated has quite the expectations to live up to. Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel are back and now joined by the likes of Maya Rudolph, Jayma Mays, and Yvette Nicole Brown as the new devilish foes. Giselle’s family life and happily ever after is now threatned ten years after the events of the original, and she has no choice but to once more step uo the plate or lose everything she’s fought for.

Disenchated premieres on Disney+ November 18, 2022!

Willow

Willow | Official Trailer | Disney+

The rare modern Lucasfilm project not having to do with Star Wars, Willow on Disney+ is the follow-up legacy series to Ron Howard’s cult 1988 film of the same name. Iconic actor Warwick Davis reprises the role of the dwarf sorceror Willow Ufgood, who must now mentor a new group of young eager heroes who hold the key to saving humanity. This group of heroes is made up of familair rising stars, including  Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Ruby Cruz (Mare of Easttown), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel), and Ellie Bamber (The Serpent). Joanne Whalley reprises her original role from the 1988 film as well, making way for legacy series that could be full of more surprises.

Willow debuts on Disney+ November 30, 2022
