Upcoming Marvel Studios Show News

Perhaps one of the most exciting things about the Disney+ panel were the three new Marvel Studios shows slated for release: Ms. Marvel, She Hulk, and Moon Knight.

  • ‘Ms. Marvel’ was officially announced at the panel, but no date is set for its release. HOWEVER, it is known that she will cross over into the films as well as have her own show.
  • ‘She Hulk’ was officially announced at the panel, but no date is set for its release.
  • ‘Moon Knight’ was officially announced at the panel, but no date is set for its release.

There was also more information presented about the previously announced shows, including casting confirmations, as well as general show descriptions, found below. All these shows are slated to be released in 2021 on Disney+.

WandaVision: we now know that starring alongside Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda) and Paul Bettany (Vision) will be Kathyrn Hahn as the “noisy neighbor,” Teyonah Paris as an older Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy, and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo. The show was described as a mix between a classic sitcom and epic, Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Emily VanCamp will return as Sharon Carter.

Loki: many different questions will be answered such as “where did he go after the Tesseract?”

What If…?: Nearly the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe cast will be lending their voices to the show, and the audience will be able to see various wacky scenarios such as Zombie Captain America with approximately 23 episodes for the show—one for each Marvel movie. Additionally, there were some previews shown of the upcoming animation series including Peggy Carter as Captain Britain.
