April is nearly upon us and with a new month brings a plethora of fresh content from Netflix. This time we will be seeing an extraordinary amount of new originals from the streaming service, many just within the very first days of the month. As usual, we are here to keep you in the loop with all the hot releases and even pick out some recommendations for you!

Starting with the first day, we have some classic movies like Reese Witherspoon’s iconic rom-com Legally Blonde as well as a real tearjerker, The Zookeeper’s Wife starring Jessica Chastain and Captain America’s very own Zemo, Daniel Brühl. However, judging by all the online buzz coming from the fans of the books, it seems likely that the fantasy series Shadow and Bone could be the talk of the month. With a great variety of new shows and films, featuring the likes of big names such as Idris Elba and Octavia Spencer, Netflix will have something for you, no matter what kind of content you are looking for in April.

Check out more of our recs below along with everything coming to and leaving Netflix in April. See what’s also in store for Disney+ and HBO Max!
