Netflix has an incredibly stacked lineup for March 2024. The streamer is premiering hotly anticipated films like Millie Bobby Brown’s new action-fantasy adventure film Damsel and Lindsay Lohan’s new romantic comedy, Irish Wish. Millie Bobby Brown, who’s now a Netflix veteran after leading the Stranger Things and Enola Holmes franchises, stars as Princess Elodie in Damsel. Putting a spin on the classic fairy tale formula, Brown’s noblewoman must escape a dragon’s lair and break an ancient spell without the help of a “Prince Charming,” using only her cunning skills and wit. Meanwhile, in Irish Wish, Lindsay Lohan’s Maddie is caught between choosing two charming male suitors after a magical wish gives her more than what she bargained for while on a destination wedding in Ireland. Netflix subscribers can enjoy this Irish-themed rom-com just in time for Saint Patrick’s Day.

After premiering at the 2024 Berlin Film Festival this February, Spaceman is landing on the streaming platform at the beginning of the month. Iconic comedian Adam Sandler takes on a more dramatic performance than usual in this sci-fi drama. Viewers follow the Czech astronaut Jakub Procházka (Sandler) six months into his solo mission to reach the edge of the solar system. In his loneliness, Jakub reflects on his life and how his wife Lenka (Oscar-nominee Carey Mulligan) might not be waiting for him when he gets back to Earth. Luckily, he comes across a giant empathetic cosmic spider, voiced by Paul Dano, in space who then offers a helping hand, or eight of them to be exact. This is the latest of Adam Sandler’s rare dramatic performances, coming after Hustle and, of course, Uncut Gems.

Another Netflix original film that’s not to be missed in March 2024 is Shirley starring Regina King. Written and directed by John Ridley (12 Years a Slave), Shirley tells the true story of congresswoman Shirley Chisholm‘s run for president in 1972, which is historic given that she was already the first Black woman elected to Congress at that time. In addition to this being a longtime passion project for lead actress Regina King, Shirley also features the great Lance Reddick in one of his final posthumous roles that was filmed before his untimely passing last year. Audiences recently got to see Reddick in John Wick: Chapter 4 and Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+.

Moving on to new shows coming to Netflix in March 2024, 3 Body Problem, The Gentlemen, and Girls5eva Season 3 are at the top of the list. Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss return to television, alongside writer Alexander Woo, with 3 Body Problem, an adaptation of Chinese science fiction author Liu Cixin’s novel series of the same name. The story follows a group of brilliant scientists in the modern day who must unravel a catastrophic, mind-boggling mystery that traces back to the 1960s Cultural Revolution in China if they are to save the world. Can Benioff and Weiss redeem themselves after the widely hated Game of Thrones series finale? Netflix subscribers will find out for themselves when 3 Body Problem debuts on March 21!

Famed writer-director Guy Ritchie is sure to satisfy his loyal fans with The Gentlemen, a spin-off series of his 2019 film of the same name starring Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Colin Farrell, and Hugh Grant. Netflix’s The Gentlemen takes place in the same universe and stars Theo James, Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Giancarlo Esposito, and Ray Winstone. When Eddie Halstead (James) inherits a large estate from his father, he finds out that he’s connected to the criminal empire from the original film run by McConaughey’s Mickey Pearson. Netflix’s The Gentlemen is a special occasion given that Ritchie hasn’t ventured into television since adapting his first movie, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, for Channel 4 in the UK in 2000.

Next up, Girls5eva is back for a third season after being originally canceled by Peacock in 2022. The musical comedy series now sees the older Girls5eva girl group, made up of Dawn (Sara Bareilles), Summer (Busy Philipps), Gloria (Paula Pell), and Wickie (Renée Elise Goldsberry), getting ready to embark on a new tour in hopes of restoring their music fame from the ’90s. The first two seasons are hitting Netflix the same day Girls5eva Season 3 premieres on March 14. Other major additions to Netflix in March 2024 include both of The Amazing Spider-Man movies led by Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, all four original Hunger Games films led by Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, both Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and the hit A24 horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies.

If that wasn’t enough, all seasons of both The Jamie Foxx Show and Martin are coming to the streamer this month too for all of those classic sitcom lovers.
