The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards are celebrating the jam-packed year in television from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025. As such, the Emmys 2025 race became one of the most unpredictable competitions in years. In the drama categories, The Pitt, HBO Max’s new hit medical show, is going up against returning heavy-hitters like Apple TV’s Severance and HBO’s The White Lotus. Genre standouts like Andor and The Last of Us shouldn’t be underestimated in drama either. Meanwhile, on the side of comedy, new fan-favorites that truly captured the zeitgeist in the last year, like Apple TV’s The Studio and Netflix’s Nobody Wants This, are looking to disrupt the previous winning streaks of Hacks and The Bear.

In terms of limited series, it seems that Netflix’s Adolescence and HBO’s The Penguin are the two top contenders to walk away with the most wins. See the full 2025 Emmys winners list below, along with some additional fun categories from the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys, which took place a week before the main ceremony. Stay updated with DiscussingFilm as we cover the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, airing live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 8 pm ET on CBS and Paramount+. You can also find the winners for the 2025 Oscars, Golden Globes, Critics Choice, and SAG awards right here on our site.
