SAG Awards 2025: The Full Winners List

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) is now celebrating its 31st Annual edition of the SAG Awards. The SAG Awards are focused only on acting, but because many SAG-AFTRA members form a significant part of the Academy, the winners here can further solidify the outcome of the ongoing Oscars race. The biggest awards of the night go to the main cast in a motion picture and the main ensembles in a comedy and drama series. The SAG Awards carry another unique quality in their two stunt categories dedicated to stunt ensembles in film and television. According to SAG, this year’s awards were voted on by over 122,000 actors, singers, dancers, announcers, program hosts, puppeteers, voice-over artists, stunt performers, and more.

The SAG Awards 2025 winners list is bound to feature some surprises and possible upsets. The race for Best Actress is seemingly down to Mikey Madison (Anora) and Demi Moore (The Substance), with the former gaining some serious momentum in the last few weeks. In fact, the same can be said for Anora as a whole, as the Neon-produced indie romantic drama written and directed by Sean Baker wasn’t seen as a leading competitor until it started sweeping major wins at recent awards precursors. Meanwhile, in the Best Supporting Actress race, Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez) has had an unbeatable winning streak (despite the controversy surrounding the Netflix movie and her co-star Karla Sofía Gascón).

While Adrien Brody (The Brutalist) and Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain) have dominated the Best Actor and Supporting Actor races, respectively, many are hoping that underdogs like Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave), Jonathan Bailey (Wicked), and Yura Borisov (Anora) could pull through with a win in the male acting categories at the 2025 SAG Awards. In the female acting categories, Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl), Danielle Deadwyler (The Piano Lesson), and Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are considered the underdogs that could pull through with a surprise win.

In terms of television, Max’s Hacks, Netflix’s Baby Reindeer, HBO’s The Penguin, and FX’s The Bear and Shōgun are expected to continue sweeping in their respective categories. Tune into the 2025 SAG Awards, hosted by actress Kristen Bell, live on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Netflix. This will be the second year the SAG Awards are streamed live only on Netflix following the streamer’s acquisition of the rights to the actor guild’s awards show. You can also find the winners for the 2025 Golden Globes and Critics Choice awards, as well as the 2025 Oscar nominations, right here on DiscussingFilm!
