Super Bowl 2026 is bringing many movie trailers to preview this year’s highly anticipated blockbuster slate. The 2025 Super Bowl was the most-watched broadcast in American television history, with 127.7 million viewers. With Super Bowl LX bringing the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, with a half-time show featuring the King of Latin Trap himself, Bad Bunny, it’s possible the record could be beaten. In addition to the dozens of star-studded celebrity commercials and advertisements, a slew of new movie TV spots will help sustain viewership throughout the big game.
For Super Bowl 2026, the fee to air a 30-second spot on live television is estimated at $8 to $10 million. As such, certain studios, such as Warner Bros. and Sony, typically opt out of Super Bowl advertising. Though it should be noted that Warner Bros. used Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl for the second year in a row to promote Supergirl. Meanwhile, studios like Disney and Universal have consistently used the Super Bowl as a key marketing platform over the past few years. This did not change this year, as major summer blockbusters like The Mandalorian and Grogu and Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day all debuted new looks during the big game.
Upcoming movies like Scream 7 and Project Hail Mary premiered their respective “Big Game Spot” and new trailer before kickoff. Animation also had a big moment at Super Bowl 2026, with Illumination highlighting their next two films: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Minions 3, officially titled Minions & Monsters. Pixar released a new look at Hoppers, though they shared nothing new from Toy Story 5. This decision was likely made to avoid distraction from Hoppers, which hits theaters first and has a steeper hill to climb as an original story. Lionsgate’s long-in-the-making Michael Jackson biopic, titled Michael, starring the King of Pop’s real-life nephew Jafaar Jackson, was notably absent from the Super Bowl as well.
Netflix undeniably created the most headlines of the night by surprise dropping the first-ever look at The Adventure of Cliff Booth, a follow-up to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), written by Quentin Tarantino but directed by David Fincher. Regardless of which football team you’re rooting for or whether you care about the NFL at all, the Super Bowl always proves to be a fun night for moviegoers. Here is a list of all the new movie trailers, teasers, or TV spots released tonight for the 2026 Super Bowl! This list is organized by release date for each film.
