The Disney+ and Hulu May 2026 list of new arrivals has something for everyone. In addition to the finales of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, the major streaming premiere this month is The Punisher: One Last Kill on May 12. Co-written by star John Bernthal, the “Marvel Special Presentation” follows Frank Castle as he tries to live a life without violence, only to be dragged into an unexpected conflict. Jason R. Moore is even reprising his role as Castle’s close friend Curtis Hoyle, ostensibly via hallucination, from Netflix’s The Punisher series. One Last Kill looks like a must-see for Marvel fans, especially coming right before Castle’s appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The British television series Rivals is returning for its second season this month. Based on the 1988 novel by Jilly Cooper and starring Alex Hassell and David Tennant, Rivals follows two wealthy yet opposing personalities whose personal beef spills over into a battle for control of a commercial television station in 1980s England. The second season premieres on Hulu on May 16. Staying on topic, the Hulu original series Welcome to Wrexham is also returning. The popular docuseries follows Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s attempts to lead a Welsh football club into glory. It must be working, as the FX on Hulu show’s fifth season is releasing its first two episodes on May 14, with more to follow weekly.
The next Hulu series that’s coming back for another go is Deli Boys. Two brothers, the serious Mir Dar (Asif Ali) and free-spirited partygoer Raj Dar (Saagar Shaikh), are thrust into a new profession when their father dies, and they are entrusted with running his secret business: an underground drug empire. Helped along by a close associate of their father’s, Lucky (Poorna Jagannathan), the brothers’ exploits received universal critical acclaim in the first season. With hilarious voices like Fred Armisen, Kumail Nanjiani, and Andrew Rannells now joining the cast, Deli Boys Season 2 sounds like even more of a hoot when it debuts on May 28.
Finally, Hulu subscribers will have access to the original Star Wars trilogy and Rogue One without requiring a Disney+ subscription in May 2026.
