The staple of the awards season, the Academy Awards (commonly known as the Oscars) bring with them a flurry of films hoping to strike gold. With schedules being shifted, films being removed from contention, and the entire season being delayed, 2021 is looking to be full of surprises, twists, and turns. What will the official Oscar nominations look like? Well, the day has finally come to find out.

With the ever unpredictable Oscar nominations having been announced this morning, the race to the finish line has never been tighter, with roughly only a month left for films to pull some magic in their campaigns. Don’t be fooled, a lot can happen just in the lead up to the 2021 Academy Awards, almost no one is a sure winner just yet! You can also find the full list of winners for the Golden Globes, and nominations for the upcoming SAG Awards set to take place before the Oscars on April 4 right here on DiscussingFilm.
