The Peacock August 2026 list of new arrivals is small but formidable. Following the additions of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Reminders of Him in July, the biggest streaming premiere this month is the streaming debut of Universal’s romantic comedy You, Me & Tuscany. Led by singer-songwriter Halle Bailey (The Little Mermaid) as aspiring chef Anna, the film follows her as she makes the chaotic decision to squat in a fancy villa in Italy. When the family of Matteo, the man who owns the villa, arrives, they mistake her for his fiancée, something that gets complicated when she begins to fall in love with his cousin/adoptive brother Michael (Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page). You, Me & Tuscany will be available to swoon over on the Peacock streaming service starting on August 7.
A prominent Peacock original series to discuss this month is The Undeclared War, returning for its second season on August 27. The espionage series is set against the backdrop of an escalating cyber war between the UK and Russia, with a dual narrative that follows intern Saraa Pravin (Hannah Khalique-Brown) and Danny Patrick (Simon Pegg) at the British GCHQ organization and Russian programmer Vadim Trusov (German Segal). Season 1 received positive notices focused on the thriller series’ strong visual language and standout performances. The Undeclared War Season 2 is guaranteed to have even more surprises in store for Peacock subscribers.
Next up for the streaming giant is the New Zealand drama series, Ms. X. The concept on this one is quite interesting. When Mia (Melissa George) finds out her husband is cheating, she enlists the help of her high school best friend to help convince him to stay with her. What starts as a not-so-innocent, small-scale scheme goes off the rails when Mia slips into the criminal underworld. The premise for Ms. X is absolutely terrific, making one’s ears prick up just from hearing about it. Eager viewers will want to tune in when it releases on Peacock on August 3.
Of course, there’s also plenty of repertory content for Peacock subscribers to enjoy in August 2026. All 5 seasons of the beloved Toronto-set sitcom Kim’s Convenience arrive at the top of the month. For those cinephiles who just enjoyed The Odyssey in theaters, Christopher Nolan’s 7x Oscar-winning biopic Oppenheimer is coming on August 16. F9: The Fast Saga is getting added this too; good news for those fans holding out hope for another Fast & Furious movie to enter production soon. Lastly, horror fans looking forward to seeing Insidious: Out of the Further in theaters this month will be happy to find the first three Insidious movies easily available to stream on Peacock.
