This list will be updated LIVE starting at 6PM PT/ 9PM ET

The 2021 awards season now takes a more freewheeling turn with the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The most notable televised ceremony selected purely by fans, this extremely popular event features a vast range of blockbusters and hit programs, unconventional categories, unisex groups, and more. Even those who don’t keep up with the show every year must be familiar with now iconic categories like “Best Kiss” or “Best Villain.” Sunday May 16 will bring a flurry of new MTV Award winners, but as reflected by the official nominees, the question is coming down to just how many awards certain films/shows will take.

Shows like WandaVision, The Boys, and Emily in Paris gathered multiple nominations, but as the MTV winners are selected only by the fans, many of these award races may be tighter than expected. Favored stars who unfortunately couldn’t get recognition in other ceremonies always find ways to get the spotlight here, making the fan voting more exciting and competitive. Suffice to say, if your favorites didn’t win and you didn’t vote… you have no one else to blame this time. What do the winners for the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards look like? Check them out below and you can also find the final winners for the 2021 Oscars, Golden GlobesCritics Choice AwardsSAG Awards, and BAFTAs right here on DiscussingFilm.
