The first of the major guild awards to be handed out, the Screen Actors Guild serves as one of the earliest bellwethers for awards success. Despite its actor-centric focus, due to the fact that many of its members form an important part of the Academy, winners here at the SAG Awards can make or break chances at the Oscars, for better or worse. House of Gucci and The Power of the Dog lead the film noms with 3 apiece. On the TV side, Succession and Ted Lasso lead with 5 each. Other fan-favorites such as CODA and Squid Game have the potential to break out in their respective categories as well. The SAG Awards always have their fair share of joyful surprises, and with this year’s unpredictable batch of nominees, this promise will surely be fulfilled.

Tonight, we’ll keep you updated on the winners of each category as soon as they are announced. Read on to find out just how many snubs and surprises took place in the final winners for the 2022 SAG Awards! You can also see the current nominees for the upcoming 2022 Critics Choice and HCA Film Awards right here on DiscussingFilm.
