Celebrating the most noteworthy films of the year as voted by a diverse range of highly established film critics, awards pundits, and influential voices from around the globe, the winners of the 2022 DiscussingFilm Critic Awards are finally here. Including journalists from notable outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Empire, The Wrap, Little White Lies, The Independent, and more, follow along in the winner announcements of our third annual edition of the ceremony.

This year, The Power of the Dog leads the pack with 11 nominations, followed by Dune and Spencer which received 10 nominations each. Mass and Titane also showed up big with 7 nominations apiece. Some surprises included Petite Maman edging into Best Motion Picture, while Belfast was a no-show almost entirely across the board. As always, our awards serve as a way to look ahead into the future of the overall season while being a platform to honor the best films of the year. Want to learn more about the DFCA? You can do so here.

Will popular critic favorites like The Power of The Dog and Dune emerge victorious? Will buzzy independent picks such as Titane, Spencer, and Mass make their mark? The winners for the 3rd Annual DiscussingFilm Critic Awards can be found below along with the runner-ups in every category. You can also look back at the winners from our 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 edition of the DFCA.
