The Netflix July 2026 list of new arrivals has already given subscribers plenty of streaming options. Firstly, one of the streamer’s notable movie franchises returned with a new entry in Enola Holmes 3. Led by Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown as the titular younger sister of Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill), the Netflix original film sees Enola’s wedding to Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge) being jeopardized when Sherlock appears to be kidnapped. Co-starring Helena Bonham Carter as the matriarch of the Holmes family and Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson, Enola Holmes 3 is the high-spirited mystery that should not be missed on Netflix in July 2026.
Up next, Netflix’s reboot of Little House on the Prairie just premiered today, on July 9. Based on the series of children’s novels by Laura Ingalls Wilder, which gave rise to a successful 1974 television series, this latest version follows the same premise: the Ingalls family braves pioneer life in the 1800s, leaning on each other every step of the way. The Netflix original series stars Alice Halsey, Luke Bracey, Crosby Fitzgerald, and Skywalker Hughes. Little House on the Prairie was renewed for a second season before its release, indicating that Netflix has strong faith in the series as a potential streaming hit.
On the comedy front, a Netflix show many are likely looking forward to is The Hawk. The series stars icon Will Ferrell as Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a formerly great pro golfer who goes on a quest to win one last final to complete a “Grand Slam” of all the major tournaments. Ferrell is no stranger to creating endearing characters in the world of sports. In The Hawk, though, he’s backed up by tons of hilarious co-stars, including Molly Shannon, Chris Parnell, Luke Wilson, Fortune Feimster, and Jimmy Tatro. Netflix’s The Hawk seems cut out to be a winner when its first season launches on July 16.
The return of Netflix’s Ransom Canyon, starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly, must also be mentioned. Based on the novels by Jodi Thomas, the Western soap opera will be bringing more heated drama and romance when its second season premieres on July 23. On the note of romance, the beloved romantic comedy Heartstopper is ending in an unusual fashion: with a Netflix movie entitled Heartstopper Forever. Fans of the adaptation of Alice Oseman‘s British graphic novel will get the chance to swoon with lovebirds Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) and Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) one last time in feature-length form. Most of the main cast, except Olivia Colman, will be returning when Heartstopper Forever streams on July 17.
Finally, quite a few classic films were recently added to the Netflix streaming service in July 2026. Michael Mann’s Ali, starring Will Smith, and Oliver Stone’s Born on the Fourth of July, with Tom Cruise, are must-watches. Netflix subscribers looking for late-night comedies can’t go wrong with White Chicks. For the horror fans, Danny and Michael Philippou’s Talk to Me and Robert Eggers’ The Witch never get old.
