The Prime Video January 2026 list of new arrivals is led by the release of Beast Games Season 2. The first season of the reality competition show broke viewership records for the Amazon-owned streamer when it debuted in December 2024. First, it reached 50 million global viewers in 25 days, making it Prime Video’s most-watched unscripted series ever. Secondly, it ranked as Prime Video’s second-biggest new series debut of that year, following Fallout. The records don’t stop there: mega YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has set a $5 million grand prize for the second season, out of a total pool of $15 million, which makes it the largest single cash prize in reality television history.

Four days after Beast Games Season 2 premieres on January 7 comes The Night Manager Season 2. Based on John le Carré‘s 1993 espionage novel of the same name, the first season of the spy show debuted on the BBC in 2016 to rave reviews. Audiences followed Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston), a former British military officer who started anew as the night manager of an upscale hotel in Cairo, Egypt. He was swept into the world of spy craft thanks to Angela Burr (Olivia Colman), the head of the Foreign Office’s International Enforcement Agency, tasked with probing illegal arms sales. Now, 10 years later, Prime Video subscribers will reunite with Pine for his next assignment.

Living under the alias of Alex Goodwin, a low-level MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London, Jonathan Pine’s life has become comfortingly uneventful. However, that changes when Colombian arms dealer Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva, Babylon) enters the picture. Pine is pulled back into espionage warfare to stop Dos Santos, this time in South America, where he will meet a slew of new enemies and potential allies. The Night Manager returns as a Prime Video series (outside of the UK) for its second season on January 11. Viewers who want to keep binging high-octane thrillers after The Night Manager will then want to stream the 6-episode Prime Video original Steal on January 21.

Led by former Game of Thrones and X-Men star Sophie Turner and Archie Madekwe (Lurker, Saltburn), Steal follows an ordinary office worker and her best mate as they find themselves caught in the middle of the heist of the century. A typical workday at a pension fund investment company turns into an absolute nightmare for Zara (Turner) and Luke (Madekwe) when a gang of violent thieves bursts in with a long list of demands. Up next, the Prime Video original film The Wrecking Crew, starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, premieres on January 28. The action comedy centers on two estranged half-brothers who reunite in Hawaii to uncover a criminal conspiracy linked to their father’s mysterious death.

The latest from Blue Beetle director Angel Manuel Soto, The Wrecking Crew is the must-see Prime Video movie of January 2026, considering the talent both in front of and behind the camera. Other streaming bonuses for Prime Video subscribers in January 2026 include an exclusive NFL Wild Card game and a full schedule of NBA games.
