New Arrivals for HBO Max June 2026

A great summer for streaming is about to be bolstered by the HBO Max June 2026 list of new arrivals. At the top of the list is House of the Dragon Season 3, which is premiering on June 21. The third season of the Game of Thrones prequel will continue to explore the evolving dynamics of the Targaryen family, adapting George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel across eight episodes. Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith), and Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) will now find themselves in the midst of the Dance of the Dragons civil war, which fans know as an event that leaves the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros forever changed.

Between House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, HBO Max subscribers have been getting fed well in the realm of fantasy. Moving into comedy, Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness offers a unique premise. The HBO original series, created by Larry David and Barack Obama, lives in the spirit of David’s iconic show Curb Your Enthusiasm. A sketch comedy celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, David will ostensibly appear in different eras of American history while the President and Mrs. Obama try their best to keep up with his antics. Life, Larry & the Pursuit of Unhappiness kicks off on the streamer on June 14, with new episodes releasing weekly until its finale on August 7.

Next up on HBO Max in June 2026 is the third season of My Adventures with Superman. In a landscape flooded with superhero content, this Adult Swim animated series frequently feels like a breath of fresh air. My Adventures with Superman puts the relationship between Clark Kent/Superman (Jack Quaid) and Lois Lane (Alice Lee) front and center while also delivering breathtaking action and clever twists on classic Superman lore. In this third season, the series is set to introduce Conner Kent/Superboy and Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern, the latter of whom will go on to get her own spin-off show titled My Adventures with Green Lantern. My Adventures with Superman premieres its third season on June 14.

The famed indie distributor A24 is bringing the heat in June 2026, with a whopping three films coming to the HBO Max streaming service. The first is Pillion (2025), where Harry Melling plays a shy young man in London who becomes the submissive to an alluring biker gang leader named Ray (Alexander Skarsgård). Touching upon taboo themes, like boundaries within BDSM relationships, the romantic dark comedy is not to be missed when it arrives early in the month on June 5. Then, on June 19, John Patton Ford‘s dark comedy-thriller How to Make a Killing (2026) makes its HBO Max streaming debut.

In How to Make a Killing, Glen Powell (The Running Man, Twisters) leads an ensemble cast that includes Margaret Qualley, Jessica Henwick, and Ed Harris as a blue-collar man who begins taking out estranged family members to get closer to inheriting a large fortune. The last A24 film coming to the streaming giant in June 2026 is none other than Undertone (2026). The audio-based horror movie that lit up the festival circuit and inspired spirited debate amongst audiences follows a podcaster whose research into the paranormal invites an unfriendly force into her home. Ian Tuason’s idiosyncratic feature directorial debut streams on June 26.
