The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) is here to finally celebrate its 29th Annual edition of the SAG Awards. The SAG Awards are focused only on acting, but due to the fact that many SAG-AFTRA members form an important part of the Academy, winners here can further solidify the outcome of the 2023 Oscars. The biggest awards of the night go to the main cast in a motion picture and the main ensembles in a comedy and drama series. Putting the greater Oscar race aside, the SAG Awards carry another unique quality in their stunt categories. Many people have been pushing for other awards bodies to give out recognition for stunt work, and you’ll get that here with two SAG categories dedicated to stunt ensembles in film and television.

Everything Everywhere All at Once and The Banshees of Inisherin are tied for the most film nominations at the 2023 SAG Awards with 5 each. The Fabelmans, The Whale, The Woman King, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever all follow behind with 2 nominations each. On the side of television, the most nominated drama series show from the 2023 SAG Awards is Ozark with a tally of 4. Barry, Better Call Saul, and Only Murders in the Building then come next with 3 nominations each. Furthermore, the 2023 SAG Awards will be the first time the ceremony will present its winners live on Netflix’s YouTube Channel. SAG-AFTRA recently made the decision to no longer air its show on TBS and TNT, and this move to YouTube is the first in a multi-year partnership with the streaming giant.

Tune in to the 2023 SAG Awards live on Sunday, February 26 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Netflix’s YouTube Channel. This unique broadcast could very well set the 2023 SAG Awards apart from any other major Hollywood guild presentation this year. Check out the full list of winners for the 2023 SAG Awards below. You can also find the winners for the 2023 Golden Globes, Critics Choice, Gotham Awards, BAFTAs, HCA Film Awards, and our very own DiscussingFilm Critic Awards right here on the site.
